Turkey’s stainless steel imports increase dramatically in 2020

According to the official statistic from Turkey, the total imports of stainless steel in Turkey last whole year showed around 605,000 tons, increased by nearly 12% year on year. Among them, the main supplier was China, with around 164,000 tons, followed by South Korea (161,000 tons), Spain (45,000 tons), and Indonesia (41,000 tons).

Vietnam’s total exports of steel show strong increase in Jan 2021

According to the official statistic from Vietnam’s customs, the total exports of steel from Vietnam this January were around 967,900 tons, increased by 2.7% month on month, and almost 99% year on year. Among them, the main destinations were China (203,200 tons), Cambodia (128,800 tons), and the Philippines (69,000 tons).
